Recognizing that the next generation has a strong preference for social exposure in addition to quality hospitality services, Eaton Workshop was founded, with its first properties open in Downtown, Washington, D.C., and Hong Kong’s Jordan neighborhood in 2018.
Eaton connects the community, has ample co-working space at its premises, and opens a substantial part of the hotel space to artists, activists and groups free of charge or at a discount. In search of progressive social changes, events are organized on the topics of women’s rights, human rights, ethnicity, environmental issues, etc. Gender-neutral facilities are also in place to further promote diversity and inclusiveness.
At Eaton, toiletries and products available for use are sustainably sourced, packaged and sold. No bottled water is available in the hotel premises, instead water is provided in dispensers or glass containers for guests to refill their own bottles.
