Position: Group Procurement Assistant (Hospitality Industry) Reference Number: CGS/GPC/20181218

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in performing the whole procurement process starting from vendor sourcing & selection, pricing & services benchmarking, negotiation, goods & services delivery and market research
  • Ensure efficient purchase activities and deliveries, including but not limited to food / non-food items, general supplies, etc.
  • Assist in managing all services contracts and agreements
  • Coordinate with internal and external parties in relation to products deliverables
  • Maintain and update items master and vendor list
  • Monitor suppliers’ performance and product quality
  • Assist in work coordination and other ad-hoc projects as assigned

Requirements:

  • Diploma or above in Procurement, Supply Chain or other related disciplines
  • 1 year’s procurement experience preferably gained in hospitality industry
  • Experience in Contract Management and Tender Procurement is an advantage
  • Knowledge in budgeting and costing is an advantage
  • Good communication and negotiation skills
  • Well-organized, willing to learn and able to work under pressure
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
  • Fresh graduates will also be considered
